Ariana was then matched against Lee to defend the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational Championship, that was taken by Lee. On July 14, 2014, Nikki Bella was in the same match as Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only was there to face Nikki Bella. Then she was able to play Naomi at the Battleground occasion prior to the main event. Ariana won the match. Their rivalry was born as a result.
